To Blog or Not to Blog

14 amazing youth, ranging in age from 14 to 18, they are the primary contributors to this space. They represent Lancaster High School, Spectrum Occupational Center (a private school for autistic kids in Lorain Ohio) and Bexley Middle School. With fun and engaging videos, photos and blogs they documented the Ohio Educational Technology Conference 2012.
The definition for this word is found with Ron who is part of the Shiny Youth team. After spending My afternoon with a very excitied group of students. I was told by Ron that he was grappy. I naturally ask what this meant and he said great and happy put together.

Kenny, Ron, Tyler and Trent met with Bart today to learn more about blogging and get some more details about the conference. There are so many interesting sessions on the schedule. Deciding which ones we would like to cover is going to be tough! We are working on some new videos...watch for them to be posted soon!

I'm interested to see what the 'Technology innovations' session has to offer. I noticed that it is not intended to promote products, but rather to hear first-hand experiences of how emerging technologies helped in the classroom.
The 'Exhibitor Session' caught my eye, also. From what I have read, this is where I can learn about new products... which may be one of the most exciting aspects of the entire conference!
As I said in my previous post, I'm really excited to see what technology I will encounter throughout the rest of my educational career!

One day closer and I'm becoming even more excited for the ETech Conference! Only being a sophomore, I'm interested to see what new technologies I will encounter throughout the rest of my high school career. Lancaster Journalism will definitely be on top of their game!

I am very excited to attend the e-tech conference that is coming up soon. I think it will be very interesting to see the new technology is being used in our schools and get a look to see what our future in education is going to be like.
It will be a great experience to learn from more than 6,500 educational innovators gather once a year and share their successes and challenges with one another. The new technology is already making our schools better and i can not wait to see even more improvement.
As a student about ready to go into the college world I am very excited to get some of my questions answered and get some insight for college.
I cant wait to go!

I want to thank ShinyDoor for giving my students the opportunity to be a part of the Shiny Youth Media Team. Being autistic means many doors are closed for them before they even have a chance to knock. Shiny Door is taking a chance on these four brilliant young men from Spectrum Occupational Center. They will not be disappointed. Sure, these students may have to work a little harder, but they are up for the challenge. The funny thing is, I've found that while I am busy teaching the students all of the things we think they need to know, they are usually teaching me a thing or two as well. Stay tuned...this is gonna be good!
